“As you start to walk on the way, the way appears.”  ~ RUMI

Dear Readers, Community, Friends,

Beloved WNC, join me in stillness for a moment, won’t you?

When life serves up lessons that are bigger than us alone, overwhelm can set in when so many important things are needed to be done all at once. Worrying about the future is a natural feeling, but pausing, breathing, and just taking the next, right, little step can give you powerful momentum to face it all.

Let’s take a minute to breathe. This technique is used to soften anxiety and stress:

Inhale for a count of 1-2-3-4

Hold it for 3,

Then exhale 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8.

Asheville and all of WNC have been on my mind and in my heart these past weeks. I hope this finds you safe and well.

I am grateful for all of the people from all over the country that have come to help our community. In these trying times, seeing everyone come together to heal and rebuild reminds me of why I live in this special place.

As always, know we are here for you.
