Beloved WNC, join me in stillness for a moment, won’t you?
When life serves up lessons that are bigger than us alone, overwhelm can set in when so many important things are needed to be done all at once. Worrying about the future is a natural feeling, but pausing, breathing, and just taking the next, right, little step can give you powerful momentum to face it all.
Let’s take a minute to breathe. This technique is used to soften anxiety and stress:
LEAF’s World Changers Festival sadly had to be cancelled, but the World Drum Day is happening this weekend! Join drummers all over the world for 24 hours of drumming (drum any length of time you wish) for “unity and your best version of the world.” Thank you, LEAF, for enriching our community in such a beautiful way.

BUSINESS RECOVERY CENTER & WORKSPACE
In partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), the Chamber established a Business Recovery Center to support local businesses affected by Hurricane Helene.
And a Business Recovery Workspace (sponsored by Lenoir-Rhyne) no cost, temporary workspaces for business owners, nonprofit organizations and employees displaced due to Helene
Visit their Facebook page for latest dates where their volunteers will be to repair and sharpen chainsaws, repair generators, as well as repairs for other survival/cleaning/rebuilding tools.
